A smart way to live ...

The majority of our internal students choose to live on campus - it's the ideal way to make a smooth transition to University life. UNE's residential colleges are more than just a place to eat and sleep - they provide academic support, social, cultural and sporting outlets and the chance to build networks that will last you a lifetime.

Your choice

You'll find a variety of accommodation options on campus at UNE. There's college-style accommodation to suit mature-entry students as well as school leavers. You can also choose from fully catered, partially catered and self catered accommodation, as well as fully independent living in on campus flats.

There are also a number of rooms available within Mary White and flats within the Wright Village if you wish to reside in an alcohol free area. Other colleges may establish similar areas based on student demand.

Mary White also offers an area for mature age students as well as an all female block of rooms.

Your home

Here you can enjoy the privacy of your own space, with social contact around when you need it. Every room is set up with its own telephone (including voicemail), computer/internet access points, desk facilities and storage space. Add your own touch with posters and photographs and feel right at home. No need to worry about getting along with flatmates, or making new friends. Enjoy a wide range of social, cultural and sporting activities on offer throughout the semester.

The residences are all co-ed, and generally have an even balance of men and women.

Manage your costs

Staying on campus can help you control your costs while at University. For example, you only pay for the university term you stay. Unlike a rental property, you won't pay for vacation-periods and other breaks when you are not staying on campus.

You and your family will have fewer bills to worry about -- utilities like electricity, heating, and water are already covered.

With our fully catered accommodation options, you don't even need to worry about supermarket, food and cleaning bills ... it's all included!

One weekly cost covers everything from a fully furnished study-bedroom, through to weekly cleaning, heating, fresh linen each week (except towels), academic support, shared bathroom and your own telephone.

More time for the things that matter

Staying on campus means you can spend more time doing what you're here for -- living and learning! Cooking, cleaning and shopping are taken care of. You even save on travel time because lectures and campus facilities are just a walk, cycle or quick shuttle-bus trip away.

An ideal learning environment

UNE Residences provide and encourage academic support from a wide variety of sources, both within their Residence and the University.
