The School of Business, Economics and Public Policy is nationally renowned for its high teaching standards that are delivered in a unique living and learning environment. The school is one of the foremost providers of distance education, assisting in the development of a wide range of business, economics, accounting, leadership and policy qualifications.
The School offers a large range of courses for both internal and external students at undergraduate, postgraduate and research levels. Units are offered during semester one and two, or on a trimester basis for our Graduate School of Business (GSB) courses. Selected units are also offered over the summer vacation.
The School encourages innovative and student-centred learning aided by enthusiastic and expert academic staff. The School has one of the highest proportion of Higher Degree Research Students and International students of all the schools within the University.
The GSB, housed within our School, provides programs which are accredited with the Australian Human Resource Institute (AHRI), Certified Practising Accountants Australia (CPA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA). We are also affiliated with UNE Partnerships, the business arm of the University of New England.
