Employment Equity & Diversity
Employment Equity & Diversity provides advice, assistance and training to management and staff on equity issues.
This includes:
• policy development, implementation and evaluation
• training and development in the areas of EEO, cultural diversity, anti-racism, conflict resolution and mediation
• elimination of all forms of harassment and discrimination
• provision of educational and promotional materials
• management and support of:
the Equal Opportunity Advisers team
the Ally Network
• facilitation of effective complaint handling
• provision of advice on and/or delivery of affirmative action initiatives, including the Pathways to Careers & Promotion Program for academic women
• preparation of statutory reports to government agencies.
