Advanced Standing and Permission to Enrol Elsewhere Applications
Advanced Standing
Advanced Standing Applications received on or before 5pm Friday, 30th November 2008 will be processed prior to the commencement of semester one 2009. Applications lodged after this date may not be processed prior to the commencement of Semester 1, 2009. Note that incomplete or incorrect applications will be returned without processing.
All applications submitted to the Student Centre must contain the following: (Graduate School of Business students see information below*)
- Completed Application For Advanced Standing (Credit) Form (accessible below)
- Please include a Program of Study indicating which units in your UNE degree you are seeking credit for.
- A complete certified academic transcript showing all grades (If you are UNE student you are not required to provide a certified academic transcript)
- Unit outlines including the following: description of the unit, aims, objectives, assessments, unit weighting, a list of reference books and textbooks
- Information on Applying for Advanced Standing and Permission to Enrol Elsewhere (credit for previous studies)
* Applicants for advanced standing in courses offered by the Graduate School of Business do not need to complete an Advanced Standing Application form, but you must indicate that you wish to be assessed either on the GSB application form or during the online admission process. Only postgraduate study can be credited to GSB courses and you must provide an academic transcript and an official statement describing the content, prescribed text and contact hours of the completed units. Permission to Enrol Elsewhere
Permission to Enrol Elsewhere Applications must be submitted to UNE four weeks before closing dates of the Institution that you are applying for permission. If applications are received after this date they will not be processed.
All Permission to Enrol Elsewhere Applications submitted to the Student Centre must contain the following:
- Completed Permission to Enrol Elsewhere Form (accessible below)
- Unit outlines including the following: description of the unit, aims, objectives, assessments, unit weighting, a list of reference books and textbooks
- A Cross-Institutional Admission Form from the Institution that you are applying for Permission to Enrol Elsewhere, as UNE is required to complete sections required by the other institution
- Students should ensure that their applications are received prior to the Cross-Institutional closing date of the other Institution.
