Alex has a long association with UNE – completing a BA (Hons) and a PhD in the discipline of Philosophy. He comes to the position of Brand Officer after working in the newspaper industry as an editor and journalist for several regional publications. He has also worked as a freelance copy writer and designer. Alex is enjoying the chance to focus on the promotion and protection of the UNE image, an institution he cares deeply about due to the formative role it played in both his personal and professional development.
