Gold Book
The University has developed a comprehensive handbook for HDR students and supervisors i.e. Quality Supervision - A Handbook for Postgraduate Research Students & Supervisors, also referred to as the "Gold Book".
Thesis Writing
The Faculty of the Professions recently held its 3rd Annual Postgraduate Research Conference. Professor Brian Paltridge, the Keynote Speaker; has given permission for his presentation "Catering to Disciplinary Variation in Thessis and Dissertation Writing" and associated documents to be reproduced below:

Scholarships
The University offers a wide variety of Scholarships to support HDR students. Details on the specific scholarships available can be found on the HDR Scholarships webpage.
Progress Reports
HDR students are required to submit an academic progress report at six monthly intervals throughout their candidature. Research Services contacts students via their UNE student email to advise them when each report is open for access. Further information relating to the on-line reports is available through the HDR Review webpage.
