Academic staff development
The principal goal of academic staff development at UNE is to support the development and enhancement of teaching and learning across the University, through assisting academics, Schools and Faculties to address their professional development needs, while also supporting the implementation of University teaching and learning policies and directions.
TLC is one unit in the university providing academic staff development. TLC implements the principal goal of academic staff development within the framework of its mission and particularly through its three priorities:
- Supporting the development of a scholarly approach to teaching
- Supporting flexible delivery of courses with an emphasis long term on ensuring a quality flexible infrastructure.
